At least you're on the right track. Trying to be an actress is tough, but living in Los Angeles gives you a bit of a head start. If you lived two hours away instead of right here, you'd be really late to that casting call.

That is the story for many people wanting to break into acting. They spend more time in traffic than they do actually acting. The best thing about living in Los Angeles for actors is that it is possible to squeeze in a casting call in between breakfast and your shift at the regular job that's tiding you over until you hit it big and achieve fame and fortune. People living in other cities do not benefit from living in such close proximity to so many studios and production companies. It would be fair to say that Los Angeles is the casting call capitol of the world.
