Summary:
Lenny a divorced atheist gets hurt while jogging. He ends up in a hospital waiting room with a group of complete strangers. There's Gloria, an African American woman, with a strong Christian faith. Rebecca and Matthew, newlyweds that were in a car accident after their wedding reception. Joey, a construction worker, that discriminates against everyone. Stacey, a young homeless, gothic girl, trying to survive the streets. Freddy, a marine that saw his best friend killed in Iraq. Peter, a book author that writes children?s stories. Max a retired doctor with a love for God. Were these strangers forced together by accident or was it part of a bigger plan?
Must schedule appointment for audition.
Time will be shot on weekends in January and February.
"Lenny" will also be shooting one day in August for a pool scene.
This is a non-paying, non-union full feature film that will be entered in major film festivals. Time will be shot on HD 24 P. Looking for completely dedicated actors that have been searching for a project that has a great story.
Experienced actors preferred, but will consider someone new with great acting ability.
Compensation:
All actors will receive a free copy of film after distribution is complete.
Actors will also get to attend premiere of feature.
There will be some gas allowance. Actors will also be well fed.
There will be a minimum of 10 rehearsals prior to shooting in January.
